Available with a 550mm diameter, the ABS systems have proved extremely popular with Architects and Specifiers in providing a low cost, simple, compact system manufactured from tough ABS.

The original SOLA-BOOST® solar assisted natural ventilation system was designed primarily for GRP 800mm square, 1000mm square and 1200mm square systems, but it was quickly recognised that the demand for such a highly efficient, energy free fan powered ventilation system could also be applied to our smaller ABS range of natural ventilation systems.

Applications
The ABS range is suitable for corridors, small offices, toilets, and indeed, any small areas where a low cost, compact natural ventilation system is required. The ABS range of WINDCATCHER® natural ventilation systems can always be installed to virtually any roof structure without any cutting or trimming of the rafters or joists due to its size. Most roof constructions have joists or trusses at 600mm centres and, therefore, at 550mm the ABS WINDCATCHER simply slips easily between the trusses without any structural builders work being required.

What the SOLA-BOOST means is that the ABS system becomes even more powerful and its applications even more widespread by providing a cost effective, easily fixed, and yet, powerful and energy free powered natural ventilation unit.
