CIBSE & Ashrae Technical Symposium
We were delighted to participate in the CIBSE & Ashrae Technical Symposium on the 5-6th April at Loughborough University. The 2017 theme, Delivering Resilient High Performance Buildings, was inspired by this year’s ASHRAE and CIBSE presidential themes, respectively “Adapt Today to Shape Tomorrow” and “Improving Performance”.
Our Technical Director, Nick Hopper delivered a poster presentation on “A case study demonstrating how hybrid ventilation and natural cooling deliver resilient high performance buildings”. We will share the poster as soon as it is live on the CIBSE website.
(Live Webinar) How to use Monodraught components within the 2017 VE release
Monodraught’s Building Simulation Team Manager talked through the latest update from Monodraught & IES through the 2017 VE release, including new HTM and HTMFs components.
The webinar will took place on Tuesday 11th April at noon. By the end of the session you will be able to confidently utilise the tools for your own building simulation models.
UPDATE: We have now provided a video recording of the tutorial or a ten minute overview on our YouTube Channel. Our Building Simulation team remain on hand for any queries or support.
Keys to the Successful Operation of Historic Buildings
The conference will include a series of interactive case studies and real life examples of innovative and effective methods for restoring this country’s building stock.
By providing an overview of the materials and methods required for effective retrofit and the challenges associated with inclusive design, the event will provide a forum to discuss conservation principles and provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the issues facing professionals in the sector.
We are delighted to be part of this event hosted by the CIOB and the National Trust on the 3rd May at the iconic Somerset House and will have a stand in the exhibitor area.
