Build2Perform Live is the biggest and most significant free two-day interactive event dedicated to helping built environment professionals and the wider supply chain improve efficiency and save money through effective building services.  There are five theatres covering topics including lighting, wellbeing, BIM and natural ventilation.  In addition there are over 50 organisations exhibiting, including ourselves.

Scott Paton, Technical Consultant for Monodraught, will be presenting a CPD module at the CIBSE Building Performance ConferenceHis presentation takes place at 10.00am in Theatre 1 on the 21st November 2017 at London Olympia.  Scott has a background in Architecture and Engineering having graduated from Loughborough University in 2008.  Since then, he has advanced his specialism within building physics and building simulation to assist with the development and design of low energy products, and modelling their characteristics with dynamic thermal modelling software.

School building and design in education remains topical with press covering the condition of existing buildings affecting teachers and pupils alike. There are concerns that with such a high focus on cost, there may be a negative impact on design/construction for pupils. In ventilation and cooling, emphasis is placed on cost-effective design, allowing users to control temperatures and good acoustics to enable pupil focus. Fresh air is increasingly recognised as important for both health and well-being for students and teachers. This CPD presentation will cover all aspects of natural and hybrid ventilation.

The wider conference is packed with great speakers and topics from organisations including ARUP, Cundall, BISRIA, IES, Marks and Spencer and of course, CIBSE.

Monodraught will also have a stand at the exhibition.  Come along to stand 228 and discuss your project requirements with our expert Consultants and get a deeper understanding of the recent developments in Natural cooling, ventilation and lighting.  It will also be possible to experience our innovative virtual reality demonstration of our hybrid lighting solution the SUNPIPE Luxloop.  It’s still possible to register for tickets, so sign-up today and we look forward to seeing you there.
