We Start 'Em Young!

Sustainable Expo

September was our busiest time ever for Exhibitions! Four Exhibitions took place, the Sustainable Expo in Dublin; the 100% Detail Show at Earls Court, London; the launch of our Heat Harvester at The Building Centre in Store Street, London; and, of course, the Homebuilding & Renovating Show at ExCeL in London Docklands.

This little girl obviously wanted to get to know the "ins and outs" of our Suncatcher system and was there quietly inspecting the construction techniques, when her mother came and whisked her away! It certainly shows how versatile the Suncatcher system can be! Tinkerbell was just one of more than 30,000 visitors that came to the Show, which was hailed a great success by everyone concerned.

The Building Centre saw the launch of our Heat Harvester, which again attracted a considerable amount of interest and is sure to be another winner for Monodraught.

Four New Members of Staff

We are pleased to say that four new members of staff joined the company on 1st September and two more, soon to be announced, will be joining us shortly! With the launch and success of so many new products, the addition to our staff has become inevitable. We keep a careful log on the number of Quotations sent out each month and August has surpassed all previous records, notching up a total of nearly £8million for the month. Since our records show that as a company, we are successful in 'converting' 80% of our Quotations into firm Orders, the current situation is quite mind boggling!

The new members of staff for September are:-

Paul Crew New Employee 2006

Paul Crew

Paul has joined us from the West Midlands and will be responsible for co-ordinating our business with the various Builders Merchants' chains. With self build at an unprecedented high and so much interest being created by small builders and home improvement specialists, the demand for our products through the complete range of Builders Merchants has risen sharply, so Paul's job is to ensure that all Merchants' Sales staff are properly informed, trained, and equipped!
Cliff Thorton New Employee 2006

Cliff Thornton

Cliff is our Special Products Sales Manager, whose main responsibility will be the launch of the Heat Harvester, which in itself has a tremendous prospect of halving firm's heating costs this winter, where the Heat Harvester is used to harvest all the waste heat from the underside of roof level! Cliff is based in Romford, Essex, and will also be promoting our wide range of new solar driven products.
James Seagrief New Employee 2006

James Seagrief

A Wycombe Grammar School boy who joins our CAD Design Team for the production of our architectural drawings. Our CAD Design Team is now 10 strong and we always pride ourselves that every Project for which we quote is accompanied by a fully detailed design drawing.
Adam Park New Employee 2006

Adam Park

Adam joins us straight from Buckinghamshire Chilterns University, having specialised in 3D design and has also had experience on animation of website designs. Adam's ambition is to improve his knowledge of the building services industry, so as to bring his skills to bear on firstly, the presentation of our drawings but secondly, to add to the very strong demand that we have created for our design drawings. We always recognise that with our niche market of unique products, it is very rare that we can find anyone who has previous experience in this field, so we always train right from first principles.

Launch of the Heat Harvester

Launch of the new Heat Harvester

Having witnessed unprecedented price increases in energy costs this year, increasing attention is being paid to the question of how to reduce our current energy consumption and our heating bills for this coming winter.

Monodraught are therefore launching the Heat Harvester, designed like a mini jet engine, at The Building Centre in Store Street, London, on 21st September. With any building over 5m in internal height, the hot air created by the heating system rises to the underside of roof level.

The Heat Harvester is suspended from just below roof level and sucks in all the heat that is otherwise wasted and blasts the heat down by as much as 15m - 20m back down to floor level using just a 35W motor! As a result, the running costs are just 50p per week and yet, the Heat Harvester can reduce wintertime heating bills by at least 30%!

Monodraught guarantee to achieve temperature stabilisation within 1°C at a maximum 7 days from installation. If this is not achieved and a substantial reduction in heating costs is not achieved within 28 days, Monodraught will provide a money back guarantee. A free survey is carried out before any proposal is submitted. Everyone is welcome to attend the launch at The Building Centre but please e-mail your intention to attend beforehand to assist in catering. The launch is at 11am followed by a buffet lunch at 12.30pm.

Every week, indeed every day, we get the most marvellous comments from customers who return their guarantee cards and below are just four of them! We have to withhold their telephone number and address details in recognition of the requirements of the Data Protection Act but nevertheless, we hope you find these 'unsolicited' responses of interest.
