Turf Roof Applications

There is a growing demand for turf roofs as a green solution
for buildings and SunPipes are ideally suited to this
application, since there is virtually no limit to the length of SunPipe that can be used. A galvanised protective sleeve is used as shown, to protect the SunPipe through the earth bund.

This is an insulated flashing normally 300mm - 350mm high or in some cases, can be 750mm - 1,000mm high where required. The upstand should finish 200mm above the top level of the earth or grass and the ABS collar, which is virtually indestructible, then fits on top of the galvanised upstand. Full design drawings are provided for each individual Contract.
